Narrate is a native iPhone app for narrated usability sessions. Start a recording, switch to the app you want to test and say what you're thinking; back in Narrate, review it, label it and share an MP4 with your team.

Capabilities

  • Screen recording across other apps, with microphone narration
  • Review before saving: save, discard or keep for later
  • A session library with the app tested, date, duration and narration
  • Notes, rename, change app and delete
  • Timeline markers that jump to a moment in the recording
  • Optional on-device transcription
  • Lossless MP4 export through the share sheet
